Melissa ISD announces Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up at Harry McKillop Elementary on Friday, March 29^th  from 9am-11am and 1:00-7:00pm.  This registration is come and go with no appointment necessary. 

 The following documents are required to complete the registration process: birth certificate, social security card, current immunization records, parent or guardian’s driver’s license and proof of residency in Melissa ISD boundaries (current utility bill).  Registration packets will also need to be completed at the time of registration.  These packets are available on the McKillop web site (melissaisd.org) under the tab “Procedures and Forms” or at the elementary front office located at 3509 Liberty Way, Melissa, TX  75454. 

 Kindergarten eligibility is for students who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2013 and reside in the Melissa ISD boundaries.  Eligibility for Pre-Kindergarten is for students who turn 4 on or before September 1, 2013, have limited English proficiency (evaluation needed); or economically disadvantaged (eligible to participate in the National Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program); or homeless; or a child of an active duty member of the armed forces or reserves; or in foster care; the family must reside in the Melissa ISD boundaries and provide proof of residency (current utility bill).

Our school is looking for your used techonology!

Melissa ISD is accepting donations of used smartphones, iPod Touches, and other tablet devices. The district plans to utilize the devices as student learning tools.

We are seeking iPhones (3G or newer) or Android phones (any model), even if damaged. All  devices will be erased and reset to original factory settings by school district technology personnel. You are also more than welcome to reset the device before donation.

To donate please send the device and its charger in a ziplock bag to the device collection box in the front office of any Melissa ISD school campus. If donating a phone, please remove the SIM card. For your protection, SIM cards left in devices will be removed and destroyed.
